Site Rules

Our rules are simple and are only in place to protect ourselves and the players using our site, please read these if your new to GASS prior to your first days skirmishing with us.

Ages
We cater for people aged 11+, those under 16 are required to wear a full face mask. Also those under 16 must have their Insurance Pro-forma signed by a Parent of Guardian. This can be done when you arrive for registration first thing on a game day, please ensure a parent or guardian is with you to sign the paperwork.

FPS Ratings
For an AEG we allow 350 FPS and 500 FPS for a Sniper. However Snipers should carry a sidearm to deal with close quarter situations during play. FPS (Feet Per Second) is the measurement used to rate Airsoft Replica Imitation Firearms. GASS Has a chrono meter on site to test suspicious guns. If you are new to airsoft and are unsure of the status of your weapon then speak to a Marshall on the day.

Pistols and Shotguns
Recommended as occasionally we run specific games with small arms. CO2 pistols are not permitted at GASS due to the nature of their power.

Booking
Booking is for catering and number monitoring and can be done online. Or if you have a problem booking by e-mailing booking@gassairsoft.co.uk. If you decide not to attend after you have made a booking then please inform us as we can allocate your place else where. Booking is vital to us ensuring no more than 60 people play which can ruin gameplay when too many people are attending the day. Please do not just turn up at GASS and book in advance. If you have your own equipment and require no rental kit, you can book the night before if necessary.

Arriving and Timings
Someone is onsite from 08:30 and we recommend you arrive at 09:00 to allow time for kiting up and signing in.
Briefing starts at 10:00 then the day ends normally round to between 16:00 and 17:00, depending on season. If you arrive late it’s not a problem you will be briefed separately then placed into the game when convenient.

Marshall's and Disipline
Site staff and Marshall's are present on all game days to ensure a safe and smooth running of the day. All site Marshall's are experienced airsofter's and will only shout orders at players when dealing with an incident or ensuring player safety. All players are briefed on the Marshall's role and methods prior to the day commencing.

GASS Staff will request that players put away a gun that is exceeding our FPS limits, it is advisable that players have a spare weapon if they believe that one of their weapon's may be exceeding GASS's FPS limits.

Site staff will remove from site any player who ignores site safety regulations or places other players or staff at risk. Due to the risky nature of the sport GASS will not tolerate unsafe players.
